About the Series
Mission: Transition Condition is a story about a group of people who come together under one man’s vision and guidance to work to heal veterans with PTSD.
That man, David Smucker, served as a U.S. Army Officer during the Afghanistan war and watched and experienced the horrors of war visited on soldiers who served under his command.
Since returning home, retiring from the Army, and climbing the corporate ladder to become CEO of a major American corporation, David Smucker has been planning his approach to healing veterans. He finds a facility in Georgetown, Texas, secretly purchases it, hires an innovative staff, gathers a few volunteers, and opens the facility to any veteran who needs help — free of charge.
This pilot series is about the first day the facility opens its doors to accept veterans.

Margo Smucker
David Smucker's wealthy ex-wife, an admitted "b*tch" who nevertheless wants to help David to realize his goal of creating a program that saves veterans' lives.
Compensation: $200/day
Barbara Dabb, Aka “Dabbs”
The charge nurse of the facility who basically runs the day-to-day operations making certain that veterans take their medication and vitamins on schedule. Dabbs served in a MASH unit during the Iraq war.
Compensation: $150/Day
Regular Ronnie
Mid 50s, veteran of the United Stats Marine Corps and is the security guard for the facility. He runs a very tight ship. He wears a guard uniform but seems to always be investigating something like he is a detective, even if he has to make something up. He puts on airs as though he is a big private detective who just does this job on the side.
Compensation: $150/day
Chester Lewis
US Navy, Gulf War Veteran. He has lost a leg, but refuses to use his prosthetic leg to walk upright, preferring to use a wheelchair. He was homeless for more than 5 years.

Susan Glasgow
40s, United States Navy Counselor/Mental Health Therapist. Quiet and inconspicuous, she enjoys her job which is to get into the heads and minds of the veterans and to help them navigate their way back into civilian life safely and successfully with goals and aspirations.
Compensation: $150/day
Regina Rush
United States Army Helicopter Pilot, Afghanistan. Early 30s. She is an Afghanistan veteran fighting drug addiction and PTSD. Also, a victim of MST. She talks tougher than she actually is, trying not to appear vulnerable.

Virginia Wright-Harvard
Straight to business Grant Program Officer for the Department of Defense.
Compensation: $150/day
Benson Maddux
Early 20s, he is an LVN, Licensed Vocational Nurse, who doubles as an orderly at Transition Condition, Inc. He is very attentive to his patients and not satisfied being an LVN because he is working his way through school to become a psychologist.
Compensation: $125/day
Gilda Goldsteine
Rehabilitation assistant to Donna Hampton.
Compensation: $125/day
Jorge Garcia
United States Marine Corps, a native of Texas. Jorge has three degrees from college. His latest is a law degree.

Nelson Wang
A Korean veteran of the Korean war and master martial artist, agile cool and about 85-90 years old.
Compensation: $125/day
Paula Butterfuque
US Air Force Veteran, in her 20s who suffers with PTSD and is missing a leg and has a severely injured arm. She suffers with depression most of the time, but is a very talented writer who loves to recite poetry.
Compensation: $125
Akeem Tada
US Army Combat Sergeant, Afghanistan. Akeem is a Purple Heart and Silver Star recipient, twice wounded and famous for his heroic actions during an attack in Afghanistan. There, he fought valiantly and helped to save the lives of several wounded comrades until he himself was wounded and lost his sight.

Lawrence Wang
Son of a Korean veteran, Nelson Wang.
Compensation: $125/day
Safronia Simms
25-30 years old, LGBTQ and proud of it. Safronia is not her real name, but she dares anyone to call her Hilda. She was involved in a road side bomb incident where she became the lone survivor in her vehicle leaving her deaf in one ear.

Sergeant Clementine
Executive assistant to General Pecane.

Brock Evans
US air Force Combat Medic, Iraq, 40s, brash, hard, disrespectful and does not seem to get along with any of his peers. Quick tempered, impatient and prone to use of foul language are his bad qualities.

Sebastian Ratcliff
Paraplegic veteran who lost his legs as a result of combat in Afghanistan.
